BOGOTA, N.J. -- Irene C. Malone, of Bogota, died Nov. 3, 2016. She was 98.
She was lifelong member and past president of the St. Joseph’s Altar and Scapular Society, Bogota, and the Bogota Women’s Club.
She was predeceased by her husband, James T. Malone; and her siblings, James T. Egan and Lucille Egan.
She is survived by her children, Irene Malone Duhaime and her husband Walter, Rosemary Malone Luther and her husband Edward, James T. Malone Jr. and his wife Maryanne and Edward A. Malone and his wife Joanne; grandchildren, Eddie, Katherine, Erin Irene, Colin, Katie, and Brian; and great grandchildren, Amber, Brandon and Clare Irene.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck. There will be a funeral service at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s Church in Bogota. Interment will follow at Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes.
